Nha Trang National Maritime Museum

The Trang National Maritime Museum was established in 1923 and is the earliest marine research center in Vietnam. It has preserved more than 60,000 marine life specimens for tourists to visit. The museum is located in the Marine Research Institute in a French colonial-era building, and there are colorful marine life swimming around the museum.

1. Admire the miniature ocean

The Miniature Aquarium of the Maritime Museum is considered a super ideal place for tourists to check in. 2. Explore the specimen storage area

The Marine Museum has 5,000 species of marine life and more than 23,000 marine life samples, including many very rare marine life, such as sturgeons, sharp-tailed moonfish, fur seals, giant mussels, etc.

3. Visit the Huangsha and Changsha Island marine resources exhibition areas at the Maritime Museum

Truong Sa Islands belong to Khanh Hoa Province. Therefore, it is of great significance to display Changsha Island here. This will help people better understand Vietnam’s geography, historical traditions and other aspects.

At the Maritime Museum, the maritime viewing area is only open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Here you will take a boat out to sea and watch marine life in action through the glass at the bottom of the boat. If you want to try diving, you have to pay a fee.
