Hue Chang Qian Bridge is a white iron bridge on the Xiangjiang River in the center of Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam. It has a curved steel arch beam and is 400 meters long. It connects the Imperial City on the north bank and the commercial district on the south bank. It was built in the 9th year of Chengtai of the Nguyen Dynasty (1897), and its name comes from the nearby coin factory. It was destroyed by a typhoon in 1904 and rebuilt in 1906. It was expanded in 1938 and sidewalks were added on both sides of the main bridge.
