Hoi An Folk Museum is one of the characteristic theme museums in Hoi An. The museum features original images, artifacts and performance events. Demonstrating intangible cultural values, it introduces the rich cultural traditions, creativity and contributions of different generations of local residents in the process of building and developing the land of Hoi An.

The folk art of Hoi An is expressed through sculptures, wood carvings, pottery reliefs, cult statues, decorative bronze statues, compounds, wood, clay and other types of watercolors, polychrome paintings, diaphragms, mosaics, mother-of-pearl, snails... These works are currently being The beauty of Hoi An’s heritage is preserved and decorated in many homes and many religious artifacts, thus helping to showcase the exquisite skills and talents of generations of local folk craftsmen in the field.

There are also performances and displays on the first floor of the museum, introducing some products of Hoi An’s traditional handicraft village, such as lanterns, silk products, paper paintings, weaving, etc.
