The 2023 Hanoi Food Exhibition promotes a variety of Hanoi specialties

The Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee recently issued Plan No. 209/KH-UBND on holding activities to promote Hanoi Food Exhibition in 2023. According to plan, the promotion of Hanoi Food Exhibition will be held from September 29 to October 1, 2023 at the Hanoi Children’s Cultural Palace (Le Tai Tso Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City).

The event will showcase and perform Hanoi's famous delicacies, such as assorted shredded noodle soup, Lã Vọng grilled fish clams, cold fusilli noodles, rich glutinous rice, black plums, bread, etc. The highlight of the event was Hanoi’s iconic delicacy, pho, as well as some other famous pho brands. The event also introduced the special delicacies of various counties, counties and craft villages in Hanoi City.

Artists will demonstrate the production process of local specialties, such as: Làng Ngâu wine jar from Thanh Tri County, stir-fried vermicelli with celery from Dong Anh County, Cự Đà sauce from Thanh Wei County, glutinous rice sauce from Shetang Lin Ancient Village in Shanxi City, etc. .

In addition to food and entertainment exhibitions, visitors can also view art forms and experience folk games in craft villages and country fairs.

The event will feature a booth offering international cuisine and contemporary dishes, in particular a booth promoting Michelin-awarded gastronomic establishments and gastronomic destinations in the capital, with famous eateries and restaurants participating: Tầm Vị Restaurant, Home (Gia) Restaurant, Thang Long Grilled Fish Chowder, etc.

This is one of the activities held on the 69th anniversary of the capital’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 to October 10, 2023). It aims to promote the gastronomic value of one of the capital’s special tourism products; at the same time, it provides opportunities for people in Hanoi and even Vietnam. Units, artists and gourmet craft villages promote gourmet products, traditional and modern handicrafts and create opportunities to a wide range of domestic and foreign tourists.
