My Son World Cultural Heritage strives to attract international tourists
My Son Holy Land (Holy Child Monastery), located in central Vietnam, is the heart of a Hindu kingdom that once ruled central and southern Vietnam for 14 centuries. At the same time, the Holy Child Monastery is also considered a sacred place because there were once as many as 70 temples standing there. In 1999, the Holy Child Monastery was approved by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee to be included in the World Heritage List as a cultural heritage.
In order to resume international tourism activities after the epidemic, the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Committee of Quang Nam Province has simultaneously implemented a number of solutions.

My Son World Cultural Heritage continues to be one of Quang Nam Province’s tourist destinations attracting domestic and foreign tourists. In the first quarter of 2024, the number of visitors to My Son World Cultural Heritage is estimated to be 123,000; of which, 110,000 are foreign tourists (an increase of more than 50% over the same period last year).
In order to improve service quality, attract tourists and protect heritage, the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Committee is working with Indian experts to build an exhibition hall to display precious archaeological relics excavated in the heritage area; to maintain and repair each tower.
