In the first half of 2023, the tourism industry in Thua Thien-Hue Province continued to recover and maintained a good growth momentum, with the province’s tourism business revenue ranking 11th in the country. Statistics show that the province received more than 1.6 million tourists, of which more than 65% were domestic tourists. Tourism revenue reached nearly 1.089 billion yuan, an increase of 148% compared with the same period in 2022. Major source markets such as Thailand, South Korea, France, and Germany maintain good growth momentum.
