Four restaurants appear in Vietnam's Michelin Guide and receive stars
On the evening of June 6, the well-known food guide book "Guide Michelin" has launched the four restaurants in Vietnam that have won one Michelin star, and announced the list of Vietnam's first-class restaurants and outstanding chefs. This marks the beginning of Vietnam's food and tourism An important milestone that has made its mark on the world.
The four restaurants that have been awarded one Michelin star include: 'Eat Saigon' restaurant, "Home" restaurant, Koki restaurant in Capella Hanoi Hotel, and Sze Taste restaurant.
Previously, 70 restaurants in Vietnam (32 in Hanoi and 38 in Ho Chi Minh City) were rated as Michelin recommended restaurants, 15 of which are Pho restaurants, such as Li Guo Si No. 10 Pho, Jin Pho, etc.
In addition, 29 restaurants have been awarded the "Bib Gourmand Recommendation" by Michelin. These are delicacies with outstanding taste and very affordable prices.
Michelin Guide representatives emphasized that the above-mentioned evaluation is based on three five criteria: the quality of ingredients, the chef's ability to control taste and cooking techniques, the personality displayed in the cuisine, value for money, and the consistency of the catering standards. Based on these five criteria, a restaurant may be awarded 0 to 3 stars after being rated. Among them, a one-star restaurant is "high-quality cooking worthy of stopping and tasting".
The launch of the Michelin Guide in Vietnam not only recognizes the contribution and hard work of chefs and leading restaurants, but also celebrates the diversity and sophistication of Vietnamese cuisine.
