Efforts to protect and promote the value of My Son World Cultural Heritage

Twenty years after My Son was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage, significant achievements have been made in the management and protection of My Son heritage. My Son Heritage has cooperated with domestic and foreign organizations and institutions such as UNESCO, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Italian Lerici Fondation, University of Milan (Milan), UNESCO Office in Hanoi, Quang Nam Provincial Center for the Protection of Historic Places and Monuments to renovate some of the tower groups.

Promote and protect the value of My Son World Cultural Heritage and integrate it with the sustainable development of tourism; ensure the harmony and win-win of cultural development and economic development, apply advanced science and technology in heritage protection and inheritance, and strictly abide by national management regulations and World Heritage Protection Conventions and Cultural Heritage Law. This is the perspective that runs through the protection and inheritance work of My Son World Cultural Heritage in Duy Thuan County, Quang Nam Province in the 2023-2030 period.

The My Son Pagoda Temple Relics Group, recognized as a World Cultural Heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1999, was divided into 11 tower groups by French experts. Pan Hu said that from now to 2030, in addition to the existing tower group, My Son World Cultural Heritage will develop heritage culture

Various tourism types such as tourism, eco-tourism, eco-leisure tourism, etc. have made My Son an attractive tourist and vacation destination. Starting from 2023, while continuing to carry out restoration work together, My Son World Cultural Heritage will strengthen its connectivity with various scenic spots and major tourist centers in the Central Heritage itinerary; develop environmentally friendly electric vehicle services to ensure that it is in line with modern tourism types and Improve the human resources team; at the same time, vigorously promote the global heritage value of the Meishan Tower Group.
