On January 4, the Da Nang People’s Committee announced that the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) will continue to be held in June and July. Accordingly, the venues for DIFF 2024 include the Han River port area (filming location) and the Tran Hung Dao Street sidewalk area (art performance institution). DIFF 2024 is expected to have 8 participating teams, including 7 international teams: France, Italy, the United States, Germany, Poland, China, Finland and the Danang team in Vietnam. Among them, three rookies from the United States, Germany, and China participated in performances and competitions for the first time. The Da Nang City People’s Committee stated that Sun Group will continue to cooperate with Da Nang City in organizing this festival and a series of surrounding activities.

DIFF 2024 is expected to have 5 game nights
DIFF 2024 is expected to have 5 game nights, with 4 qualifying nights and finals nights.
Opening night is expected to take place on the evening of June 8, followed by fireworks nights every six nights over the next few weeks (with a break the week before the final night). The final night of DIFF 2024 will be held on July 13th.
Specifically, the international fireworks display schedule expected by each team will be held on the following dates:
– June 8, 2024: Vietnam-France, theme “Love without Borders”
– June 15, 2024: Italy-United States, theme "The Color of Peace"
- June 22, 2024: Germany-Poland, the theme "Tolerance and Inclusion, Diversity"
- June 29, 2024: China-Finland, the theme "Freedom and Creativity"
- July 13, 2024 : On the last night, with the theme "Cultural and Economic Connections - Sustainable Development"

DIFF was first held in 2008. 2024 will be the 12th year that DIFF will be held in Da Nang.

International Fireworks Festival Viewing Locations
The fireworks show will be held near the Han River port, so you can choose to stand at Tran Hung Dao or Bach Dang Street. Or admire bridges such as Thuan Phuc Bridge, Han River Bridge, Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge and Nguyen Van Thuy Bridge.
