A bridge symbolizing Vietnam-Japan friendship
The Vietnam-Japan Friendship Bridge further reflects the profound friendship between Vietnam and Japan. The bridge is also a symbol and bridge of cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, contributing to the promotion of cultural exchanges and diplomatic relations between the two countries and even between Da Nang City and Japan.
On July 1, in Da Nang City, the pedestrian bridge across Nguyen Pi Thanh Street donated to Da Nang City by Japan’s San Riyue Group was completed and opened. The bridge contributes to further cementing the deep friendship between Vietnam and Japan.
The overpass is nearly 13 meters high, more than 140 meters long, and has a construction area of about 655 square meters. The guide paths on both sides of the viewing platform reproduce the image of knots in Japanese knot art, reflecting the close and friendly relationship between the two ethnic groups.
The shape of the building is inspired by the waves of the sea, giving people a relaxed and comfortable feeling. The two observatories also have steel spiral stairs and elevators, so people with disabilities can easily get on the bridge.
