10 Vietnamese delicacies and specialty gifts obtained Asia record certification
The Asia Records Organization has officially decided to issue 10 new Asian Record certifications to Vietnamese food and specialty gifts based on the 2023 Asian Food and Specialty Product Record Standards.
Previously, in 2012, 2013 and 2022, the Asian Record Organization also issued Asian Record Certifications for Vietnamese food and specialty gifts based on nominations from the Vietnam Record Organization (VietKings).
Specifically, the five special Vietnamese delicacies that have been certified as Asian records are Saigon bread (Bánh mì Sài Gòn) (Ho Chi Minh City), clam rice (cơm Hến) (Thua Thien Hue Province), and Phan Thiet hot pot (lẩu thả Phan Thiết) ( Binh Thuan Province), Ninh Hoa BBQ Spring Rolls (nem nướng) (Khanh Hoa Province), Grilled Pork Belly Seafood Noodles (bún nước lèo) (Soc Trang Province). The five specialty products of Vietnam that have been certified as Asia Records are Cốm làng Vòng from Hanoi City, khoai deo from Quang Binh Province, sesame peanut candy from Thua Thien Hue Province (Mè xửng), and Da Lat City from Lam Dong Province. Strawberry, Tra Vinh province tea stick long rice dumpling (bánh tét Trà Cuôn).
Representatives of the Vietnam Record Organization revealed that since 2010, the organization has continued to be keen on searching for and promoting Vietnam’s unique values, especially the value of food and specialties, and fully implements its mission of “delivering the essence of Vietnamese specialties and even the essence of Vietnam to all parts of the world.” .
From 2012 to 2023, the number of Vietnamese delicacies and specialty gifts that have won Asian records has increased to 60. In the future, the Vietnam Record Organization will continue to nominate outstanding value products in many other fields of Vietnam and promote images of Vietnam’s local conditions and people to international friends.
