Canaan Island is located on the Thu Bon River in Hoi An. You can take a ferry to Canaan Island from the Bach Duong Road Pier in Hoi An. In Canaan Island, surrounded by water palm trees, in this quiet water town in central Vietnam, there is a cool summer resort under the tall coconut trees. Local betel nut trees can be seen everywhere. The villagers still retain their simple living habits and use coconut leaves to build buildings. The thatched house is warm in winter and cool in summer.
